Season -
New-leaf.
The weather is turning light and breezy, but the wind and rain won't pass easily, nor without a fight. Anticipation is thick in the air, making the fur of the Clan cats prickle with worry. What could be brewing in the forest?

rules of starwatchers
theses are our rules, please read them carefully and try to follow them.
rules for everything
The general rules for OOC chat.
Don't spam; SPAM stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages.
Don't post more then once in a row, you can simply modify your post.
Don't give out personal information unless it's over personal message. Though minor information is fine.
Don't use excessive chatspeak in your posts, try to be literate.
role playing
The rules for role playing.
Don't godmod. To 'Godmod' would be saying your cat is invincible, and sometimes can do things cats normally couldn't do. (Flying, telepathy, telekinesis, etc, etc.)
Don't powerplay. To 'Powerplay' would mean taking control of another members character without their permission. Only a Leader can use slight powerplaying during apprenticing ceremonies and such.
Don't post more then once in a row, even if it's just an OOC post after a role play post - You can simply modify it to add whatever you want to.
Don't use human terms - These are Warrior cats, and they use words like 'Monster' for a car, or 'Nest' for a house. (This includes human profanity.)
Don't make your character a Mary-Sue! This means don't make your character perfect/completely not perfect. Try to make personalities you would find in REAL LIFE.
Don't take anything personally that happens in this role play - The owner of the character who insulted your character does not hate you, it's just a role play, so don't get all angry about it and cause unnecessary drama.
Don't use ANY chatspeak in your role play posts unless it's in OOC form. Doing so will have your post deleted.
One thread per Clan! Which means if there is a thread already open, then join that one. If you notice that there are no role play threads currently available, feel free to make one.
banning
If you break these rules, here are the consequences you will face.
First Offense - A PM from the admin explaining what you did.
Second Offense - 20% warning, and a second PM.
Third Offense - 50% warning.
Fourth Offense - Banned for a day.
Fifth Offense - Banned pertinently and deleted from the site. You will receive an email from the admin.

]bio rules
Don't make your character a Mary-Sue. (Please read rule #5 of Role Play to find out about what a Mary-Sue is.) For StarClan's sake, make your character with flaws.
Please make a thorough description of what your character looks like if you don't have a picture; As in three or more lines. If you have a picture of your character, I'd still appreciate it if you still put in about three lines. (Characters made before we revamped do not have to update their bio to fit this rule.)
Don't make your cat an impossible color - You don't see purple cats with neon green spots running around your backyard. If you do, I'd suggest calling an ambulance for yourself, you've probably ingested something toxic. :P (This includes the eyes and pelt)
Don't make your character all-mighty and powerful - That's godmoding, and no one likes a show-off. Like stated in the Mary-Sue paragraph, make your character with some flaws. Is your cat easily distracted? Jumpy? Emotionally unstable? Go from there.
Names like 'Leopardspot' are fine, but don't go totally crazy in making a name like 'Nutpelt' or 'Starpaw'. If you're stuck on a name, go to an online thesaurus and try typing in the color of the cats fur - Like 'White', or 'Dappled'. If you don't find anything you like with the fur color, try their traits. You'll probably find a creative and interesting word that you never heard of. :D
Don't name your character anything Warriors wouldn't know of, like Twoleg terms such as 'Devil', 'Angel', 'Autumn', 'Winter', 'Spring', 'Summer', etc. Also, 'Moon', 'Sun', and 'Pool' are sacred to the Clans, so none of that either.

in-depth c-box rules
the extended rules for our cbox.
c-box rules
Follow them closely, or you will end up banned; Either by me, or the C-box.
Don't post more then you need to. The C-box will automatically ban you and it beyond my control to un-ban you.
Don't post an advertisement, force people to click the link in your name, or just post a link. You can, however, suggest a certain site to someone, or say something like 'This site is cool' or 'You might like this site' along with a link in your name.
Don't use severe profanity - This is mainly a kids site.
Anything in the general rules applies here, except for the chatspeak rule. You can use chatspeak here, as long as your posts aren't made up entirely of it.
Do report anyone you see breaking any of these rules to any admin available; Try not to get angry at them and provoke them, because they have more of a chance of staying and causing more chaos.
"When the waters of disaster meet the forest floor, five unlikely must step up, before the clans are no more."
"This is the chilling prophecy that five medicine cats receive on an oddly cold night in New-leaf when five cats give birth to new litters. Along with these words comes an image: Five shadowy figures standing on a hill in the pelting rain with several cats below them. Eventually, the words are put out of mind.
Now zoom forward a few moons. It's the middle of new-leaf, and several kits have been Apprenticed. Rainpaw of TreeClan, Streampaw of DesertClan, Riverpaw of RapidClan, Ripplepaw of SwampClan, and Wetpaw of SparkClan. These apprentices do not know each other, and carry separate personalities. Strangely, they have one thing in common. They keep seeing these images in dreams. Their territories under water, cats running from a large wave of water, etc. They tell no one, but they also keep hearing the words of the long-forgotten prophecy when they least expect it.
Another image that comes to mind is a large lake that only a few recognize. Then comes the unending rain. Will the apprentices realize their destiny? Will they come together, despite Clan boundaries, to save the Clans'? Only time will tell."
