Season -
New-leaf.
The weather is turning light and breezy, but the wind and rain won't pass easily, nor without a fight. Anticipation is thick in the air, making the fur of the Clan cats prickle with worry. What could be brewing in the forest?

Name: Autumnstar Rank: Leader Age: 17 moons Clan: Swampclan Gender: She-cat Pelt: Shades of red, orange and brown. In the fall, she can completely blend in with the fallen leaves. Eyes: A soft green color Parents: Mother is Leafpelt, father unknown Mate: none Apprentice: None yet.
The dens of Swampclan are a series caves at the base of a cliff that were formed by a river that once flowed through the area many moons ago. The entrance to the den is just tall enough for a cat to enter through and wide enough for five cats to get through. The Warriors area is near the front of the cave with the apprentices' area close behind. The kits' area is in the next opening. The kits area has an entrance to the Leader's area, the Deputy's area and the Medicine cat's area.
To the left of the den is a smallish pool of water. (It's water comes from the cliff and disappears underground.) In front of the den and a little to the right is a giant, smooth rock. The front of it is pointed and facing the den. The top of it is flat and it is the color of mud. Moss grows around the base of it. This rock is known as SwampPoint.
Autumnheart approached Moonfalls. She wasn't sure what exactly to expect. She fell asleep as her nose touched the water.
A strong grey tom appeared before her. He mewed and stepped towards Autumnheart. His deep blue eyes stared into hers. He seemed so familiar, but she couldn't quite remember him. As his nose touched hers, Autmunheart felt pain, and yet at the same time a soothing feeling. Suddenly, she realised who this tom was. However, as the name came to her, he faded out and a she-cat the color of flames appeared before her. Her green eyes filled Autumnheart with a feeling of fear, and yet at the same time courage. Their noses touched, and the flame colored she-cat was replaced by a black she-cat. The cat touched noses with Autumnheart and emotions flowed through her uncontrollablely, and yet she could find the strength within her to control them. The next five cats came and went so quickly, she could barely fathom the feelings they put in her heart, let alone their color. Then a ninth cat appeared. It was a she-cat who had the same coloring as Autumnheart. She recognised her right away. This was her mother, Leafpelt who had died protecting Autumnheart when she was only a kit. Autumnheart was filled with pain. As her mother's nose touched hers, she was filled with an odd feeling. She wasn't sure what it was. She looked to her mother, but all she saw now was the water of Moonfall trickling down as it had when she fell asleep. Starclan had given her nine lives, and she was now Autumnstar, leader of Swampclan.
"When the waters of disaster meet the forest floor, five unlikely must step up, before the clans are no more."
"This is the chilling prophecy that five medicine cats receive on an oddly cold night in New-leaf when five cats give birth to new litters. Along with these words comes an image: Five shadowy figures standing on a hill in the pelting rain with several cats below them. Eventually, the words are put out of mind.
Now zoom forward a few moons. It's the middle of new-leaf, and several kits have been Apprenticed. Rainpaw of TreeClan, Streampaw of DesertClan, Riverpaw of RapidClan, Ripplepaw of SwampClan, and Wetpaw of SparkClan. These apprentices do not know each other, and carry separate personalities. Strangely, they have one thing in common. They keep seeing these images in dreams. Their territories under water, cats running from a large wave of water, etc. They tell no one, but they also keep hearing the words of the long-forgotten prophecy when they least expect it.
Another image that comes to mind is a large lake that only a few recognize. Then comes the unending rain. Will the apprentices realize their destiny? Will they come together, despite Clan boundaries, to save the Clans'? Only time will tell."
