Steven bounded along the fence until finally he came to Silt's fence, by his nest. "Silt," he said, sitting next to him. "Are you okay?"

Steven's eyes widened. "No! I mean...you can't..." he meowed, shock racing through his body, making him feel dizzy. His friend might be leaving!

"But...you can't leave!" Steven blurted out, trembling. "You have to stop your Twolegs. Mine are foster Twolegs, they can look after you! They're used to having a lot of animals. I'm sure they wouldn't mind another cat,"

Peige watched as Slit ran off sobbing. She dashed up to the other cat whom she hadn't recognized, her long slender legs spread far apart carrying her far. "What's going on?" She exclaimed, her blue eyes large with curiousity and alarm.

Steven looked at the she-cat who had come up to him. He's seen her before, but didn't know her name...or at least he didn't remember..."Slit's leaving! To new Twolegs!" he blurted out. "Oh, and by the way, my name's Steven."
