Then Dove spotted Peige, Maddy and the kits. She glanced back at Slit, smiled, and bound off to them, hoping he would follow and wasn't to embarrased by his... clanlieness.

"No. He's sick." he meowed. The kit had a disease known as greencough. He smelled it but apparently they didn't. "Do your Twolegs have Borage leaves?" he asked.
